Rose DeWitt Bukater swim dress from Titanic

We present an exceptional cosplay costume, inspired by the iconic dress worn by Rose in the film "Titanic". Created especially for a client's Titanic-themed birthday party, this unique design combines traditional tailoring with a modern approach to sewing.

Our creation stands out for its originality and environmental consciousness. Crafted in the spirit of zero waste philosophy, the dress was born from two old dresses: a white one and a peach one. These previous creations served as the base structure and outer layer. Additionally, to complete the look, we used remnants of purple batiste, delicate tulle, and pieces of lace and decorative ribbons.

Every detail has been meticulously crafted. Hand-sewn draped lace and fabric remnants give the creation an authentic, handmade appearance. The dress features a floor-length hem with a slight train, adding a touch of elegance. Draped sashes that can be tied at the back further enhance the elegance, and the kimono-style short sleeves add an oriental flair. The dress, in white, purple, and peach colors, is made from materials such as chiffon, tulle, and batiste.

This is not just a garment but a true work of art. The dress is a fusion of passion, tradition, and modernity, perfectly fitting the Titanic-era theme, ensuring that anyone wearing it will feel truly exceptional.
